Vinterferie – Gothenburg and Copenhagen

We get a week off of school for “Vinterferie” (winter vacation) in February. Many families use this time to go skiing, visit relatives, or go to their winter cabins. I decided to head down south to Denmark. I started my trip with a 3 hour train ride to Gothenburg, Sweden where I spent 2 nights. I then continued on to Copenhagen, Denmark where I spent the next 2 nights. Both places were really cool to see, but Copenhagen definitely impressed me the most! Beautiful architecture, good food, interesting museums, and so many bikes and waterways! I did a Hop-On-Hop-Hoff Bus and Boat tour which allowed me to see most of the city. I also visited several museums: The Danish National Museum, The Danish Jewish Museum, and the Glyptoteket. I wish I had stayed longer!
